Located on the first floor featuring stunning sash windows, high ceilings and a magnificent ornate fireplace is our private Old York Room. Decorated to the rafters, it’s elegancy, versatility and private bar makes it a perfect for an end of year awards, festive feast or a good old fashioned shin dig.

December Sleepover in Wandsworth

If you’re always the last one to bed after the Christmas party, then booking a room at the pub is perfect for you.

Stay with us during the fabulously festive month of December and enjoy a one-night stay in one of our super-cosy bedrooms, a meal in the pub (it’s foodie season after all), and a hearty breakfast the following morning. And because it’s that tempting-treats-and-tipples time of year, we’ll make sure there’s a special little something waiting for you on arrival.

No dashing off before the last dance, no pricy taxi ride home (or falling asleep on a stranger’s shoulder on the tube) for you – just a wonderfully comfortable room, a short walk from the bar.

Loved it - top night on a busy weekend. Staff, very attentive, helpful and thoughtful. Successful supper catered for all ages for a post Christmas theatre trip. 35 years on from my first pint in The Alma - I still love this place, and look forward to many more visits!

Recently enjoyed the Christmas Feast at the Alma. Great food and excellent service, the only let down was no stuffing with the main course. Always a great atmosphere in the pub and restaurant and look forward to returning soon.
